3. AI Processing
We use Anthropic's Claude AI to process uploaded invoices and recipes. When you upload a document:
- The document is sent to Anthropic's API for text extraction
- Extracted data (ingredient names, prices) is saved to your account
- The original uploaded file is not permanently stored
- Anthropic's privacy policy applies to their processing of this data
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted database provider. We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
- Encrypted password storage
- Row-level security ensuring you can only access your own data
- Regular security updates and monitoring

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:
- Service Providers: Supabase (database), Anthropic (AI processing), Vercel (hosting)
